Overview
Changing Colors succeeds at collaborating with several tourist destinations in the Upper Catskills to inform the public about all the wonderful Autumn Festivals in the area. Focusing on the beautiful fall foliage and all there is to do.
NYSHA received a grant to develop the Changing Colors program. We were asked to develop the logo, brochure and the website for the new venture.
Identity - Logo
Using the colors of autumn combined with the symbol of three leaves we developed a logo to brand the project.
Website
The website features information about every festival in the program so users can log on and search for a festival by many different specifications. The site also features an interactive map to search by location. The site receives coupon codes which are sent to NYSHA to track the usage of the rack card and brochure.
Brochure
The rack card and brochure are used to direct people to the website. By entering in a code on the website the user can receive discounts to some of the festivals in the program.
Conclusion
Using powerful design on the site and the brochure we helped make the program a success for both the participants and the individual festivals.
Testimonial
"I just wanted to pass along that we are getting a great response to the Changing Colors brochure. I have been complemented on it several times and I wanted to pass along the complements to you. Locally, I’ve been complemented by the Cooperstown Chamber and Brewery Ommegang. The best complement was that one brochure distributor estimated that he would need 4,000 for the months of August, September, and October. He just ordered 4,000 more and says he totally underestimated because he didn’t expect the piece to be so well designed. I just wanted to thank you again on such a nicely designed piece. You deserve the credit for the positive response we are getting."
